Photo Safari Challenge

Make the Ordinary Extraordinary


A casual evening of seeing, shooting, and talking photography.

Join PPSCV for a relaxed evening exploring Willow Glen with fellow photographers. We'll look for interesting photographs hiding in everyday scenes, share ideas along the way, and enjoy an evening of creativity, conversation, and community.

Photograph whatever inspires you, or participate in the optional Photo Safari Challenge for an extra creative push.

No fee to participate. All experience levels are welcome, and non-members are encouraged to attend.

LEARN

Education

Practice seeing beyond the obvious and strengthen your photographic eye with practical tips and real-world experience.

GROW

Guided Feedback

Take part in the optional Safari Challenge, submit your favorite images, receive feedback, and grow through discussion and community voting.

BELONG

Community

Photograph alongside other photographers, exchange ideas during the walk, and continue the conversation afterward during our optional social gathering.



Logistics


What to bring
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Water and snacks
• Bring only the photography gear you want to carry
• Sunscreen, Layered Clothing as appropriate for the day's weather

Please keep your belongings secure. PPSCV is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Are you open to a creative challenge?

Try the three optional challenge prompts we provide while exploring Willow Glen.

After the outing, participants may upload one image for each prompt. Voting opens for one week. 

The Gold Chain Champion is announced at the next Safari and featured on PPSCV’s website and social media. 

The winner also helps select the next Safari’s prompts and location.
