Mastering Long Exposure Night Photography

Russell Brown will show off his latest night photography techniques and Photoshop scripts. This session will exclusively talk about night photography and some of the unique challenges this genre presents. He will explore how 1-8 hour exposures with long star trails can be made with a process called “image stacking”. Russell will also demonstrate his new version of Dr. Brown’s Stack-A-Matic script that’s been optimized for this purpose. All class participants will receive a copy of Dr. Brown’s latest Photoshop scripts and actions on a disc.

Opening her business in an Interior Design studio, Lisa started with a very unique vision designing art for her clients homes and has made a living solely from creating artistically designed high end Portraits. Lisa has shared her artistic vision and business acumen with Professional Photographers around the world and has presented in Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Bahamas, as well as many PPA schools and conventions throughout our country.

Michael Collins: Marketing to Improve your Business

Michael Collins retired from Law Enforcement at the rank of Sergeant after 30 years of service. He has been a professional photographer for over 17 years and served on the board of directors for the Professional Photographers of California becoming President in 2007-2008. He has also served as President of the Gold Coast Professional Photographers Association 10 times.

Michael’s passion in photography is mostly photographing high school seniors. As he says, “I am at the same maturity level as they are.” He has written several articles, published in both photographic and law enforcement magazines.

In this program, he will talk about marketing to improve your business and how to stand out in the crowd.
